Lakyn Fornshells funeral services

Hello, my name is Lora. Im a 60 year old, disabled, marine corp veteran. I unexpectedly lost my daughter, Lakyn Fornshell, to an accidental drug overdose on Christmas Day 2023. I have no life insurance for her. All funds raised will go to help with funeral service costs.

I lost my children’s father who also was a marine corps veteran to cancer in 2003, and just 4 years later in 2007 I lost my 16 year old son. Losing her older brother is what led my daughter Lakyn to develop a drug addiction.

Lakyn had been through so much over the last few years, even through all her suffering she was one of the strongest people I’ve known. She kept her hopes and dreams alive throughout her addiction. She wanted to go back to school to further her education to provide her kids with a better life. She leaves behind two young boys ages 4 and 6. Her children were her world. Any funds that may be left over will go to Lakyns sons and their care.

I’m fighting to stay alive for those little boys who now need their grandmother more than ever. We have no other family, it’s now just me and my grandchildren.
