Lamar Lee Kane Jr. Memorial Fund

It is with a heavy heart, that we share the news of the unfortunate and tragic passing Lamar Lee Kane Jr.  Lamar was well loved by classmates, teammates, friends, and family alike. His infectious smile and kind heart brightened rooms everywhere he went. A graduate of Calvin Coolidge High School, Lamar Jr,  attended the University of the Southwest, where he played men's basketball and planned on following his life's passion by majoring in sports management.  Unfortunately, that promise was cut short by a senseless act of violence overnight August 24, 2019. While attending a local party, a gunman opened fire on party goers injuring four, and killing three, including our beloved Lamar. A suspect has been arrested but further investigation is ongoing.   We have created this page as a memorial to Lamar Jr. in support of his father, our Alpha Brother Lamar Lee Kane Sr. and his mother Kia Bryant. Lamar Jr. left an indelible mark on all who knew him and we ask that you support his family in their time of need.
