Empower Lama & Yara Survival & Education During Displacement

Hi everybody We are Lama & Yara Elnajjar From Gaza , a member of the Palestinian National Programming Team.

Our lives were anything but ordinary; each day was an adventure, each day had a goal, and every moment was a step closer to our objective in rapid strides filled with creativity and excellence. We immersed ourselves in programming, learning and implementing artificial intelligence, and brainstorming solutions for societal problems and ideas that could achieve financial sustainability. We represented Palestine in international competitions, participating in numerous local and global contests, with victory as our constant companion. One of our achievements was designing an application to assist the hearing-impaired in understanding their surroundings. Tech-Talent2022 Among our accolades was winning a trip to visit NASA in the United States, where we soared in the skies of technological advancement—a scientific and tourist journey alike. Subsequently, we headed to Switzerland for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), where the "Nabhani" application for the hearing-impaired won the Champions Award.

But suddenly, overnight, time stood still, and the landscape of life changed. The wheel of dreams came to a halt as war ravaged Gaza, plunging us into profound darkness.

We no longer knew our fate or what awaited us. Dreams were lost, and ambitions vanished.

We left our homes and dreams behind and ventured out in search of a safe haven. We searched for security, food, and water, seeking a place where we could find our basic rights to sustenance, safety, and the preservation of our lives to stay alive. We are a family of 8 . Our family is in danger, our lives are at risk, and our dreams are in jeopardy. We turn to you for help.

We are live in a tent in Rafah. We are now staying in a tent. A small tent made of nylon and cloth on the side of the street did not support us at all, neither from the bombing, nor from... a small family in desperate need of your support to find a safe place that preserves our lives and dreams."
