I am creating this fundraiser for my sister, Amy, her husband, Nick, and their two eight-year-old girls, Emma and Charlie. On August 8, devastating wildfires moved through the Hawaiian island of Maui, destroying their hometown in Lahaina.

My sister and her ohana have lost their home, business, and everything in it. We are grateful that they are safe and in good spirits. This Go Fund Me is to help their family of 4 begin to rebuild their home and lives. It will specifically assist with the continued mortgage payments on their leveled home, temporary housing, the replacement of tools and materials of their business so that they can rebuild their business/livelihood, basic necessities, and toys for their girls. Any help, big or small, is greatly appreciated.

Thousands of people remain missing and displaced. Amy and her ohana are a small percentage of those that were impacted by the Maui wildfires. We are grateful to our neighbors, community, and especially, our first responders who continue to work tirelessly to control this disaster.
