L’Amoreaux 50th Anniversary (Tickets & Fundraiser)
The small school with a big heart just turned 50. The entire L’Amily of former staff and students are all invited to the 50th anniversary celebrations to commemorate L’Am’s past and show support for its future on May 24 and May 25, 2024.
Friday, May 24th, 2024 @ Spade Bar & Lounge - 50th Anniversary Reunion Social
- 6pm to late
- Light appetizers, cash bar, and DJ
- All alumni, staff, and guests are welcome (19+)
- Tickets ($35 each) OR GoFundMe donation receipt ($50-$99 for 1 entry, $100+ for 2 entries) required. No ticket sales at the door. Space is limited.
Saturday, May 25th, 2024 @ L’Amoreaux C.I. - Staff Reunion Breakfast
- 10am to 12pm
- Current and former staff members only (administrative, custodial, office, support, teaching, etc.)
- Tickets Required ($22 each)
[FREE MAIN EVENT] Saturday May 25, 2024 @ L’Amoreaux C.I. - 50th Anniversary Reunion
- 12pm to 5pm
- Tour the school, visit decade rooms, and a special anniversary presentation at 1pm
- No tickets required. All are welcome.
Alumni Fundraiser - L'Amoreaux Legacy Fund
With recent funding cuts, L’Am is in need of the support of the alumni community. Department and extracurricular budgets have been drastically reduced, the robotics team didn't have school funding for competition fees, and current staff members have been contributing out of their own pockets to ensure graduating students could be awarded scholarships of as little as $50.
Despite a disproportionately successful alumni community beyond those of some of the most prestigious private schools, L’Am students continue to have huge needs. Let’s come together to show the strength and support of the L’Amily.
Donation Bonuses
- Up to $49 - All donations will make a difference and are completely tax deductible
- $50 to $99 - 1 complementary entry to Friday night reunion social (donation receipt required)
- $100+ - 2 complementary entries to Friday night reunion social (donation receipt required)
- $250+ - Recognition on official anniversary event donor list (in addition to 2 complementary entries to Friday night)
- $2500+ - Optional custom, multi-year scholarship with name and criteria of your choice (in addition to $250+ benefits)
Business sponsorships are welcome and can be reflected as such on the event donor list upon request. All donations are fully tax deductible and will be issued a tax receipt via the PayPal Giving Fund. Funds will go directly to L’Amoreaux C.I. through the TDSB’s registered charity for use toward school initiatives.
