Hello everyone, my name is Athena and I am a former kean student. I’m so glad I was able to attend kean for 2 short years before I had to transfer because within those 2 years it brought me great academic achievement, a lifetime of friends and lastly such a great companion my boyfriend Anthony. Anthony is the type of person who would do anything for anyone in a heartbeat when it comes to these kind of things. Anthony is a very well rounded person, intelligent, kind and very determined. He works a part-time job and is currently finishing his last semester of college...
Anthony is a part of the sigma Beta Tau chapter at kean in which he is so thankful and grateful for bringing him a lifetime of friends, a great amount of courage, love and support both academically and personally and lastly hope to fulfill a bright future with much success....as we all know as ͏life goes on things happen and things can quickly take a turn on us. Recently Anthony has been diagnosed with stage 3 matastic malignant melanoma (skin cancer). In the last few weeks I have collaborated with a t shirt company called H.O.P.E. -HOLD.ON.PRAY.EVERYDAY in which this company will take all the proceeds and funds and will donate it to Anthony during this time.
My intended goal is to not only take all the funds from the purchases of the t shirt created (link underneath) but to make this go fund me for Anthony and take a portion of these funds and donate it to cancer research with help to find a complete cure to eradicate this disease. Recent data shows approximately 1,735,350 people are diagnosed with cancer a year... I would like to reduce that and help make a change in some way by taking a portion of all these funds and putting it toward utter research. Change doesn’t only start from within but it starts with you all!!! With that said let’s make a change not only for my beloved boyfriend Anthony but to all the other people out in this world suffering from this disease too!!
