John & Heidi Lampros IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) Journey
Hello Everyone... I would like to share John and Heidi's journey with you.  It's a journey that so far has taken them from marriage to infertility to pregnancy to loss and now to IVF and the hope that IVF brings.    John and Heidi were married in September of 2015 with dreams of starting a family right away.  For 5 years they struggled with infertility.  During this time they met with multiple doctors and specialists but continued to struggle.  However, in March of 2020, Heidi received her first ever positive pregnancy test, it was a day of rejoicing for the Lampros family!   After multiple positive at-home pregnancy tests, and a doctor visit, it was confirmed that John and Heidi would be parents to TWINS!


But soon into her pregnancy, in May of 2020, complications arose and Twin A went home to be with Jesus.  Then more complications followed during a routine anatomy scan (and a hopeful gender reveal) in late July...  Malakai Cannon left the womb and entered eternity to join his sibling.  Due to COVID guidelines, Heidi received this news alone and in the following week, would have to deliver Malakai in a hospital room without John by her side.  She was then informed that a future pregnancy would be detrimental to her health.

After much prayer and consideration, Heidi and John feel led to start their IVF journey. Unfortunately, their insurance does not cover this expense so over the last few months they have diligently tried to find financial support through grants and loans but every application was denied. They have had friends suggest they set up a Go Fund Me page in order to allow others to help.  They agreed and are now turning to their family, friends & community to partner with them as they enter their new season of parenthood.


Heidi and John have found their own surrogate, which helps greatly as this would be an additional expense of approximately $50,000.  However, they are still needing to raise a minimum of $30,000 for the cost of the IVF treatments.
