Lance “Bubba” Johnson

On October 2nd, Lance “Bubba” Johnson was working at his shop in Henderson when he was involved in an accident where a gas can exploded onto his body resulting in 3rd and 4th degree burns from the waist down, and 2nd degree burns on both hands. He was then life flighted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He is currently in the ICU burn unit in critical but stable condition. Due to the severity of his injuries, he is intubated and unable to communicate. We have been told he could be in the hospital for one month to several months. Lance will have to undergo multiple skin graft surgeries and lots of physical therapy before we can ever consider bringing him home.
As many of you know, Lance is self-employed and many of his friends have stepped in to try and keep his business going. Due to the extent of his injuries, we are unsure of how long he will be out of work. Any donation’s received from this GoFundMe, or any other fundraisers will strictly be used for maintaining Lance’s home, medical bills, and any medical devices he may need for recovery at home.
We have felt an overwhelming outpouring of love from so many already, but many have asked about giving monetary donations. We want Lance to focus completely on his recovery over the next several months and not having to worry about life’s necessity’s. Any donations would be helpful, greatly appreciated, and strictly for Lance’s recovery. But most of all, please continue to pray for complete healing over Lance’s body.
