Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, 20, of Norco, California was one of 13 American service members killed Thursday in an explosion in Afghanistan. The City of Norco stated Nikoui graduated from Norco High School in 2019 after joining JROTC, and then became a United States Marine. Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui was committed to serving his country and is survived by his mother, father and siblings. His selfless service, courage, and faithfulness will forever be remembered by those who served alongside of him and those who knew him.

My name is Eva Long, a Marine wife of an individual who served in 3/1 for 8 years aboard Camp Pendleton, California. I am currently in direct contact with Kareem’s sister, Shyler Chappell, and family, who gave me the go-ahead to create this GoFundMe. All funds will be directly going towards his family.
