Hello everyone, my name is Jorge Barranco, I am Lance CPL. Marco A. Barranco's uncle, I am helping out my cousin, Marco Barranco Sr., and the family manage this account since these are hard times and they need their grieving moment.

This is Lance CPL. Marco A. Barranco, (rifleman) age 21 from Montebello, CA.

Marco (known by Andy to everyone), was a kind-hearted person with a lot of love to share.  Andy was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, then later moved to Montebello, CA and went to High School there.  Andy loved his family, loved his parents, loved his neighbors and everyone around him, always willing to help, lend a hand or ear.  Andy joined the military with the ambition to make his Family and COUNTRY proud.  He wanted to protect his country and make sure that everyone in it was safe.

It is with heavy hearts, that we are writing this. Andy sank on that AAV on Thursday 7/30 along with the other 7 servicemen. We will never have the opportunity to get a final goodbye.  All that is left are the countless memories of him, the love he offered everyone, and the stories we will hear along the way.

We are raising funds for his family, Andy leaves behind two-sisters, a niece and an unborn nephew, and both of his parents.  They are all carrying their broken hearts trying to accept this new reality, a life without Andy.  We are asking to donate whatever your heart can manage during these crucial times, the funds raised will go directly to his father (Marco Sr.) and help the family in the next coming times, especially since Andy was helping his family out financially.  Andy was always willing to help his family and share a dollar with those in need.

Andy wanted for his story to be heard, let's make some noise for  him, let's have his name known along with those other fallen soldiers, who's voices will never be heard.  Let us be the ones to speak up for them, because they matter too.

May you REST IN PARADISE Andy, we will forever hold you in our hearts. You are now one of God's Solider's
