Lance & Kim Lionetti Fund

Donation protected
Anyone who knows Lance Lionetti knows a happy, fun-loving, sweet, and hilarious man who adores his wife and kids. He also loves the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. Recently laid off from his job, Lance was excited to start something new with Trader Joe’s. Honestly, we can’t think of a better workplace for someone who loves to talk to people.

Lance started the job but hadn’t been feeling well. It was only a day after a trip to the doctor for an oral infection that he got the call that there was more to the story. Further tests had come back and he needed to get to the hospital immediately for a blood transfusion.

Lance was then diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was admitted to the hospital on November 4 and expects to stay there to receive chemotherapy treatments for the next 3-4 weeks. Once he’s released, he’ll need to return to the hospital for chemo one week out of every month for at least 6 months.

Since Lance was laid off and Kim's work as a literary agent isn't salaried, the Lionettis will be paying for their own insurance costs as well as additional medical bills.

Lance and Kim have two children, Samantha, 12, and Nicky, 15. Nicky is autistic and any money that doesn’t go toward Lance’s medical expenses will be used to potentially help find extra assistance for Kim with things like at-home learning, childcare, travel costs, and any other expenses that might arise.
