Land purchase for Autistic Haven CIC

Hi everyone my name is Janatha. I am fundraising to help kickstart our non-profit called Autistic Haven CIC.

My dream is to create a caravan park exclusively for families with autistic members, in North Wales. Our vision is to create a safe, low-arousal, non-judgemental space with zero tolerance to bullying. Where meltdowns are tolerated and everyone feels accepted and supported.

The site will be fully fenced and secure, with exceptional outdoor play equipment for all ages and abilities, hopefully with a magical woodland area giving children complete freedom to explore and have fun, and giving parents the optimal chance to relax and enjoy respite.

Raising an autistic child is tough, in our experience getting the right support is challenging and exhausting. To be able to come into a space where everyone knows what you are going through and that you and your child will be accepted whilst on holiday would be a considerable advantage.

The idea for Autistic Haven was born from a need for escapism. My autistic son had been badly bullied on the estate where we live and has refused to play out for the past 2 years. Many other parents are in the same position in need of somewhere to escape.

We are diligently working to raise funds through grant applications, however, the majority cannot assist until we have secured a plot of land.

Your donation will go towards to purchase of land for the site of suitable size and location. Anything you can contribute will be most gratefully received.

We are beyond grateful for all the support and love already received for our project, and in turn we hope to be able to provide families with a welcoming, safe and non-judgemental holiday location for many years to come.
