Land Purchase for Masjid (WKIC)

West Katy Islamic Center is raising money to acquire land for a Masjid. The property is 4.07 acres and is located at the intersection of Hwy 1463 & Tamarron Parkway. The price of the property is $2.5 million. We have to make a payment of $500K within 90 days, the balance of the payments will be over a period of 8 years @ $250K annually.

The property currently has a house built on it. We expect to have ~ 3000 sq ft of prayer space available after completion of renovations. A section of the prayer hall shall be dedicated for the sisters.

Seller Financing: Alhamdulillah, we have secured seller financing for this land, which means after the closing amount of $0.5 million, we are required to pay the remaining balance of $2 million over the next 8 years ($250,000 per year) or sooner.
