URGENT: Huni Kuin need help to evacuate there village

Donation protected
URGENT:
My good friend's village is in dire need of evacuation. The condition in their village has become unlivable do to the invasion of outside sources encroaching on there land.

Inka Yubē, the spiritual leader, of the village is asking for $6,000 to get his people to safety in other parts of the jungle. This price is mainly for gasoline and food. He is asking for help to move the one hundred and fifty people out of the village that resides on government land that has proven to be problematic as it receives no protections or support and is continually invaded and vandalized mainly by illegal hunters, loggers, fishermen, and farmers.

These people have big dreams. They want to start a new village on their own land but for now then just want to feel safe.

Even $5 will help to feed someone during these trying times.

More in depth story expressing grander vision:

Deep in the heart of the Brazilian amazon exist many indigenous tribes and villages that have been there for generations. Currently, many villages face all kinds of threats to the sovereignty of their own wellbeing. Illegal logging, hunting, farming, and mining are encroaching on their lands. Many villages are having difficulty providing for their people because of the lack of resources and the destruction of the jungle. The “Aldeia do Futuro” project is the rescue and preservation of the Huni Kuin village, Segredo do Artesão, and their ancestral knowledge and culture. The project aims to start two new villages on land owned by their own people away from threats, where they wish to establish a cultural center, community infrastructure, a new school, and a Huni Kuin museum.

Pajé Bimi, the matriarch, and Inka Yubē, the spiritual leader, of the village Segredo do Artesão are looking to relocate their village of 150 people to a piece of land out of reach from threats. They currently reside on a piece of government land that has proven to be problematic. Deep in the Amazon, but still accessible to industries, the land is becoming unlivable. Outside forces are depleting their natural resources; the rivers have been over fished, the water polluted, the animal population heavily decreased from the illegal hunting and deforestation, and with the lack of trees from the illegal logging they feel they can no longer sustainably build in their village. The village is finding themselves in a difficult situation. Many days people go by hungry. Not being able to survive off of the land as they once did due to these threats, they wish to maintain their rich culture and heritage and move to an area of the jungle where they can be sovereign and self-sustaining.

The village has already chosen a new region where they would like to start their new village, land of the ideal size costing around $25-50,000 USD.
They would also like to drill a well for continual access to clean water ($6-8,000 USD), as wells as all of the aforementioned buildings and infrastructure ($10,000 USD).
