Fitness Fundraiser

Lichfield Swimming Club was founded in 1968. It is now a club with around 120 swimmers, with ages ranging from 8 upwards. In recent years LSC has engaged in a programme of rebuilding under the combined efforts of the Club committee, drawn from the parents of swimmers and a growing team of qualified coaches and teaching staff.

The Club operates as a not-for-profit organisation and we actively seek funding to enable us to buy new items of training kit for our swimmers.

A small team of swimmers are attending a local gym - HX1 Fitness - who have provided their venue & equipment to allow our swimmers to do a fundraiser by pushing themselves to their maximum and hit targets as a team including:

100km on assault bikes

1000 burpees

1000 squats

1000 wall ball throws

1000 kettlebell swings

There will be qualified coaches there to assist and help keep the motivation going for the duration.

The fundraiser will take place on 21st September 2024 at HX1 Fitness from 12.00 - 15.00 and final numbers of exercises achieved will be shared after the event.
