Landon Beck and Lydia Meece

This is a call for support for the family of Landon Beck. On May 20, 2022, Landon was in a serious motor vehicle accident which left him with multiple injuries, including severe traumatic brain injury. Landon is currently in a coma and being treated in ICU surrounded by his family. His journey is expected to be long and will likely be costly. His wife and family will need lots of support in the prayers and good vibes and help with finances in this difficult time.

As described by his adoring wife, Lydia Meece,

"Landon Beck is first and foremost, the love of my life and my best friend. But beyond that he is wickedly funny and unfailingly kind. He gives steady reasoned advice and solid hugs. He loves setting things right and his life revolves around our little family, with our two troublesome dogs and his many hobbies from baking bread to woodworking and destroying every bike we've ever owned.

He also has a wonderful, loud, messy, and lovely family who love him more than anything with two nephews on the way this fall. He has yet to meet a baby who hasn't instantly fallen in love. I implicitly trust their judgment."

Lydia is currently a second-year Internal Medicine resident and Landon is an Accountant. Together they live in Des Moines, Iowa and are some of the most genuine, awkwardly hilarious, hardworking, compassionate people. They are constantly helping and advocating for others, and sometimes hosting cute dinner parties. This fundraiser will help Lydia with the costly medical bills and the long journey to come in support of Landon. Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
