Landon Daniel Memorial Scholarship - CLOSED

Dear Friends, Family and the ONW Community
On July 19th our sweet boy Landon passed away from a tragic auto accident. Please keep him and our family in your thoughts and prayers. Our hearts are broken and his light, easy smile and loving heart will be missed. He was loved so deeply and unconditionally.
Landon was only 17 and would have been an incoming senior at Olathe Northwest High School. He was a huge fan of all sports, but particularly the University of Kansas and KU Basketball. His lifelong goal was to attend KU in Fall of 2019 to pursue his passion for Sports Broadcasting.
Many have asked how to help and support in this time of grief, therefore, we created the Landon Daniel Memorial Scholarship. The original intent of this scholarship was to provide a small scholarship to each of Landon' s 2019 graduating classmates from Olathe Northwest that will be attending the University of Kansas. While nothing can replace our loss, we hoped this worthy cause would allow Landon's spirit live on through the approximate 100 classmates that also love KU.
As the generosity has skyrocketed, we are also considering offering a longer-term scholarship. This would most likely center around an incoming KU freshman, pursuing sports broadcasting/journalism. This might also help Landon's spirit live on through those that want to pursue the same passion he held for so long.
Thank you to all for your incredible generosity and kindness! We appreciate your support and the opportunity to help Landon's "Be Legendary" legacy live on.
You can now make a tax deductible donation through the Olathe Public Schools Foundation also:
