Landon Moulton Eagle Scout Project

My name is Landon Moulton, and I am a Life Scout in BSA Troop 746 at St. Joseph Fullerton. For my Eagle Scout Project, I am building two picnic tables at Perry Hall Swim Club.

The Perry Hall Swim Club is a non-profit swim club serving the Perry Hall, Maryland community. Members enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and spacious field from Memorial Day through Labor Day each year. During the hot summer months, the members not only use the pool for cooling off but also gather with family and friends for picnics on the field. The swim club hosts activities, tournaments, and family fun parties, and the pavilions are available to rent to members for special events, such as graduation parties, birthday parties, holiday gatherings, etc. Unfortunately, the existing picnic tables have deteriorated over time due to age and exposure to the elements.

The construction of two new picnic tables with benches will greatly benefit the Perry Hall Swim Club. The additional outdoor seating options will provide members with a comfortable and inviting space to gather, dine, and socialize in a beautiful setting. Additionally, the inclusion of anADA-compliant picnic table ensures equitable access for all individuals, promoting inclusivity within the club community. With these enhancements, the Perry Hall Swim Club will elevate its facilities, offering members an enhanced outdoor experience.

When the fundraising target of $500 or the cost of the project is reached, fundraising will stop. The soliciting of donations is for the project beneficiary and for the completion of the project, not BSA. Any remaining fundraising money will be donated to the project beneficiary, Perry Hall Swim Club.
