As many may have heard, Our sweet Laney, Lanetron, Big Guy' had passed suddenly Monday evening 10/31. Our hearts are inconsolable. We NEVER phathomed this kind of loss, he was the light of our lives and gave us so many laughs and joy throughout his 22 yrs of life. Lane started life with his Mom, Cristy Addis, he was the sweetest little guy with a pure love in his heart for everyone and a giggle that lasted for days, because he would just repeat the story over and over as if it was the first time every time. When we found out Lane had autism is when it became alot for one person. My mom and step-dad stepped in and helped. They took Lane in and within a few years all of my nephews were there. They grew up like brothers, Logan,Dalton, Connor, Brandon and Ayden. Aunts and uncles became like brothers and sisters and we all helped raise our boys. It hasn't been easy but it has always been worth it. Lane wouldn't have wanted it any other way. He wanted everyone home because that's how it was supposed to be... together. Especially my mom, if she went to the store... "she was gone too long" and had to explain herself lol. They were thick as thieves and it was rare that you ever saw them apart. He loved her beyond measure and she in return. I always wanted to be the favorite Aunt but with Lane; Aunt Sonja was his #2, because grandma was #1 . So I did what any normal person would do for that title and bought a pool. What kid doesn't think that's cool! It got me some brownie points for sure, but the bar was already set high in comparison. I get it lol! Lane was/is a one of a kind.... full of heart, kindness, joy and love, but if you made him mad, he wasn't afraid to tell you... "you're fired", "Grandma get em outta here", as though she was the officer on duty, escorting said persons out the building, just ask Uncle Dusty and Grandpa. If Uncle Dusty wanted a fishing buddy though he needed to work at making things right again. McDonald's french fries and chicken nuggets were always his way of forgiveness. Lane grew into a gentle giant at 6'4" 300lbs, he shared his love and laughter with anyone who needed/wanted it. They'll never be another quite like our Lanetron and the missing piece in our hearts will forever be just that. We Love you Big Guy and we'll always carry you with us FOREVER!

With our unexpected and unprepared loss any and all help will be forever appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and getting to know just a fraction of who Lane Ashton Grant was. IYKYK
