Lane Family House Fire

In the early afternoon of September 14th, the Lane family suffered a devastating house fire resulting in the loss of their childhood home. The fire began in the garage and was quickly carried throughout the house after the ceiling rafters caught fire. Luckily no one was injured, however, the Lane family lost their beloved cat Baby to the fire. The garage was left completely destroyed, along with Jason Lane’s (Father) vehicle and tools used for work. The ceilings inside the house were caved in, the entire home suffered smoke damage and water damage from extinguishing the flames. This tragic loss was not just a material loss, but also the loss of irreplaceable family memories. Unfortunately, this is not the first tragedy to befall this family. In late April, wife and mother, Ranada was unexpectedly hospitalized and later passed away. Ranada’s early and unexpected death took a large toll on the family and left Jason Lane to take on the difficult role as a single father trying to provide for his three daughters: Mikala, Haliey, and Emillee. Currently, Jason will be unable to work due to the loss of transportation and tools. We are asking family, friends, and members of the community to come together and help the Lane family recover from the tragic loss of their childhood home, we hope that everyone could find it in their hearts to help this family begin to put the pieces back together and come to their aid in any form possible.
