Hurricane Relief Fund supporting the Langston Family

Cindy, Olivia, and Layla have experienced an unimaginable loss after Hurricane Helene destroyed their home on Anna Maria Island. This wasn’t just a house—it was the heart of their family (and our community) for three generations. It’s where Cindy built a beautiful home, where Olivia has spent most of her life, and where Layla was raised.

The flooding and storm surge caused significant structural damage and caused them to lose nearly everything inside the home. Anything they were able to salvage has been placed in storage for the foreseeable future. The flooding also totaled their cars, leaving them without transportation. They now face the daunting task of starting over from scratch.

Cindy and Olivia have always been extremely hard workers, holding positions at some of the island’s most respected family-owned businesses. While they are grateful to still have their jobs during this crisis, the financial burden they’re facing is overwhelming. Their insurance won’t cover personal belongings like clothes, furniture, or basic household items—things that are essential to rebuild a home and a sense of normalcy.

This GoFundMe is being set up to help Cindy, Olivia, and Layla secure the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
