This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our talented students to showcase their creative problem-solving skills at the world stage. They have worked hard to qualify for the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in Iowa, where they will compete with teams from all over the world. But they need your help to get there. Flights and accommodation are expensive, and we don't have much time to raise the funds. Please support our students by making a donation of any amount towards our target of $9934. Every dollar counts and will make a difference. Thank you for your generosity and for believing in our students' dreams. Together, we can make this happen!

Expenses/Cost:

- Per person - $1,223 ($363 airfare, $785 dorm room/food plan, $75 shuttle

- Prop Transport $150

What your funds will help us accomplish:

* The team has worked over 200 hours over the past 8 months to craft a solution to their long-term problem. They’ve shown Texas they’re the best. Now they want to show the world.

* The solution includes original music written and performed by the students.

* The team has created an original instrument from recycled trash.

* Along with the long-term solution, the students have learned how to think on their feet to solve spontaneous problems. They’re excited to compete in their spontaneous competition as well.

* Using everyday discarded trash, the team has crafted beautiful works of art that belong in a museum.
