Lanier Sign Fundraiser-Class of '87

What a blessing it was for the Sidney Lanier class of 1987 to celebrate 30 years! Our school is not only a part of our hearts and lives, but it is a historical landmark in Montgomery. And while it is still quite beautiful, it is in need of a few updates and repairs. Dr. Williams, Lanier's current principal, has made this request:

"The school needs to purchase a new marquee. The current one is old, outdated, and broken. They are unable to use it to advertise, announce things to parents and community, and it's an eyesore for the front of the school (see photo). The total cost of the marquee is $10,000. Any alumni class that makes a $2,500 donation as a class will have their graduating class year placed on the marquee. It will take approximately six weeks after the payment has been made for fabrication and installation."

We have created this account to help raise the money as a small token of appreciation for what Lanier and its teachers and administrators have done for us and thousands of other students through the years. Once the fundraiser is completed, we will ask Go Fund Me to send a check directly to Lanier.
