Disaster Relief Fund for La Nurses
Donation protected
The Louisiana State Nurses Association (LSNA) Relief Fund, established in 2005, in the wake of Katrina to support nurses who were impacted by this catastrophic event. The LSNA Relief Fund distributed over $156,000.00 to nurses in need post-Katrina. The Nurses Relief Fund in a partnership of LSNA and the Louisiana Nurses Foundation.
Now we find ourselves in another devastating event, the 2016 Floods in Louisiana. Once again, many nurses were called upon to duty only to find their own homes lost to the disaster. We want to help these deserving individuals! Faced with the loss of everything, any assistance can make a difference in these nurses and their families lives.
Funds will be distributed to nurses who demonstrate need due to being impacted by the floods. The Relief Fund needs your donations so that this very necessary function of LSNA and the Louisiana Nurses Foundation (LNF) can be continued.
This campaign is the OFFICIAL campaign of the Louisiana Nurses Foundation and Louisiana State Nurses Association.
