Lap the Lough in aid of cancer support services

At the start of the year I decided to dust off the bike and set myself the goal of completing the Lap the Lough 2023. On the 27th of August I'll be trying to complete the 90 mile/ 144km cycle around lough neagh.

Now to many cyclists this may not seem alot but for me who hadn't been on a bike for about 15 years it's a big challenge. Trust me I won't be trying to break any speed or time records on the day.

I've also decided to try and raise a bit of money for some local cancer support services as I work towards completing the lap. Cancer effects almost all of us directly or indirectly at some point in our lives. Local cancer services are cruitial in helping individuals and their families dealing with the challenges that a cancer diagnoses brings. Recently my wife lost someone very close to her from cancer and we could see the great help local support services provided and this is what inspired the fundraising.

So if anyone would like to help me raise a few euro it would be greatly appreciated.
