Lara Elaine Ferreira Gomes Surgery

Good morning or afternoon to all those who are reading this. My name is Alberto Gomes, and my brother Adauto and his wife Lindsay just had their first baby girl Lara Elaine Ferreira Gomes. No words can describe the love that our family has for her. I am currently raising this fundraiser to help Adauto & Lindsay with their medical bills and to help support Lara through this though time.

Lara Elaine Ferreira Gomes, was born on October 14th, 2022 at 1:06pm with a weight of 6lbs and 14 oz. During the pregnancy Adauto & Lindsay faced some difficult times with news about Lara. Unfortunately, they were told that her left hand would be different than normal, but no matter what, Adauto & Lindsay were able to push through it together with the help of God.

Unfortunately, after a few days she wasn’t able to properly poop causing the doctors to worry. Having her sent to the Neonatal ICU,  which broke all of our hearts not being able to hold and see her. After the Doctors did a biopsy, she was diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s Disease causing her to be needing surgery this week. It has been such a rough start for Lindsay & Adauto that I just want to do my part in helping them because no one deserves to be going through this. With your help they will be able to pay off for medical bills and assist in starting out Lara’s life

Her surgery does not have an exact date yet, but it got pushed back to next week Oct 23 - Oct 29.
