Large brain tumor, please help Chris with surgery

On July 14th, after many months of complaining about discomfort and pain in his head, Chris learned that he has a large brain tumor. This tumor must be removed as it is pressing into his brain, making this a potentially fatal tumor.

Chris needs to have surgery to have this tumor removed. Due to the tumor being so large and pressing on the brain stem, the neurosurgeon can not fully remove the tumor, and therefore after surgery Chris will need to start radiation to fully shrink the remaining of the tumor.

Chris had been complaining about this pain for over 8 months. Chris went to his Primary Doctor, ENT Specialist, TMJ Specialist, and every single Doctor misdiagnosed Chris. On May 2023 Chris had a CT Scan done and even then they failed to see this large tumor on his brain.

After continuing with this uncontrollable discomfort, it was Chris who asked for an MRI to be done, and only then was he properly diagnosed with a brain tumor.

This brain tumor has caused Chris to have 90% hearing loss (right ear). This hearing loss is not reversible. He will never regain his hearing. It has also caused vision blur/loss, facial paralysis/numbness and dizziness which is only reversible by removing the tumor.

Recovery after surgery will be 3-4 months. This means Chris will not be able to work (Neurosurgeon, Otologist and Radiologist have made this clear). Along with the frustration of being misdiagnosed for so long, Chris also learned that his insurance does not cover the whole cost of Surgery.

It is obvious that unfortunately a lot of Doctors failed Chris. Causing Chris to be in pain for multiple months and most importantly causing Chris to lose his hearing for life. If this would have been caught earlier on, the outcome would have been different.

UPDATE 8/28/23

As mentioned above Chris' insurance doesn't fully cover the surgery cost and the after-treatment, for radiation.

All funds raised will go towards Chris' surgery, co-payments, after-surgery treatment and to help Chris get back on his feet as he will not be able to work for three months after surgery, due to recovery. We truly appreciate all of Chris' supporters.
