Large Generator for Penelakut Cold Storage

The Penelakut community suffered incredible food losses with the latest power outages. To address future severe weather, they plan to have a cold storage that will have a large generator for power outages. The generator is going to cost $19,000. Several people on Galiano are backing this GoFundMe to help raise funds for a generator. This initiative has the support of Penelakut Chief Pam Jack.
