Larger Bricksie Studio

Donation protected
Hey everyone! All the proceeds will go directly toward obtaining a larger studio space! With a larger space, we will be able to do even more amazing things with LEGO and produce even better content. Any support is highly appreciated.

The plan is to get a large rectangular space, construct massive tables and fill them full of LEGO! This includes the city, landscapes, and awesome dioramas such as a medieval scene, amusement park, farm, campground, zoo, downtown core, private island, train yard, more trains, truss bridges, mountains, raised platform, and much more! It is essentially everything we have now but bigger and better. The additional space will also make it easier to access and work on projects. No more smashing my back while crawling under tables! No more popping in and out of access holes with MILS plates that barely fit. No more knocking over virtually everything while reaching, stretching, and even standing on tables! Dioramas like the zoo won't be locked in place, making it way easier to work on them. Everything will be larger, more accessible, better displayed, and easier to work on, making the workplace much more efficient.

This massive change will also make things better for our family. Right now, Benjamin and Millie share a bedroom because dad's job takes up the entire basement, the office upstairs, part of the garage, and one of the bedrooms, which is over 1/3 of our living space. Before we blink, the kids will require their own bedrooms and a larger play area - which of course will be the current LEGO room. Having the office away from home will also create a better work-life balance for our family. With that said, I have the option to work from home - this ensures that dad is still around to help. For some reason, the thought of having work away from home excites me. The drive to work, the fresh air, the change of scenery, and interacting with more friendly faces. There is just something about it that is appealing to me! The thought of dropping the kids off at school, heading to work for the day, and picking them up on the way home is a really cool dad scenario! Also, bring-your-kid-to-work day... that'll be lit. I'm sure the kids will love to come and check out the dad's studio all the time (please just don't touch dad's stuff!).

Anywho, you get the point... all aspects of this change really excite me! Any support goes a long way - thank you so much! I look forward to continuing to produce daily LEGO content!
