Larnie's Love Home Care Start-Up by Shenise Mincy

Larnie’s Love Home Care LLC is named for my mother, Larnie Lewis Hansel who died on January 7, 2018. My mom, Larnie, had been a childcare provider whose loving attention was “like a warm blanket on a very cold morning,” according to her former charges. I am so very blessed that caregiver Shenise Mincy was in Mom's life in her final years. Shenise was Mom's warm blanket in her years with dementia. When Mom was in a dementia facility I was in a constant state of worry. Having Shenise with her a few hours daily was a godsend. I knew that she was receiving the loving attention she needed. Shenise has continued providing loving, respectful and excellent care to elders and others in the Cincinnati area since Mom's death. It is time for her to turn her gift for love into an ongoing business that will allow her to continue providing direct care while training and supervising others, just like Mom did when she moved from providing in-home babysitting to a running Breathitt County Kentucky's first daycare center. I know Mom would want me to help Shenise make this leap, and so I am doing it for her. And you can too by donating to this campaign which will help Shenise grow her business infrastructure, including a website, training additional staff, and more! We know Larnie would be proud of us!
If you live in the Cincinnati area, you can also share that Larnie’s Love Home Care provides personalized help to persons with short or long-term needs due to frailty, dementia, disability, illness and other reasons, whether in a private home or facility, including personal care, meal assistance, light housekeeping, transportation, errands, companionship, overnight services and more! They are ready to take on additional clients, and hope to grow in capacity very soon. Contact us to schedule a personal consultation.
