Larry and Jaime Benware

Larry Benware’s wife was recently diagnosed with Leukemia   I know that the Beekmantown class of 1992 is a great group with family ties.  Let’s all give what we can to ease the hardship of this family. Larry is self employed and his wife is soon to lose their health insurance.

Over the weekend I received my official diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and will start treatment today. I'll be honest, chemotherapy scares the shit out of me. But my team of amazing doctors are confident I will beat this, go into remission and go home! Oh how I miss home! If all goes as planned, I will be at Shands for another 4 weeks. Thank you all for your support and continued prayers!
