Larry and Mary-Ann Updike's son Gordon

One of the last posts beloved radio personality Larry Updike wrote on social media before he recently passed ended with these words

"I'm far more concerned about Mary-Ann and Gordon. If you consider me your friend, please remember that"

Well your friends remember, Larry! Your media brethren have come together with Mary-Ann's blessing to help make Gordon's future life as comfortable as possible.

Gordon is 32 years old, autistic and non-verbal. Developmentally he is at a pre-school level. Mary-Ann is aware he will outlive both his parents now.

Although Larry and Mary-Ann have saved as much as they could for Gordon's future care, much more is needed, especially with Larry's passing.

If Larry or Mary-Ann or Gordon have touched you in any way, as they have all of us in his media community and countless others, please consider helping to ensure a good future for their beautiful son Gordon and some peace of mind for his Mom.

Honestly we really didn't know what to set this goal at but hopefully.....
