Larry Anderson Memorial

Larry Anderson passed unexpectedly Wednesday, May 15, 2019. He was and is loved by so many in his family and community. Larry has served his country in the Navy and his community as Pastor at Piney Grove United Methodist Church. He has touched so many lives and I’m pretty sure never met a stranger. He’d tell you “I love you” the first time he met you, and every time thereafter… and mean it. This larger than life man has given the shirt off his back, shoes off his feet, food of his plate to strangers… and inspires others to do the same.

The musician…The Trinity Boys… Bluegrass.. Gospel… even back to Shag music on the beach. He was happy with his favorite guitar in his hands, singing. And could he ever sing!

He was so much to so many, but to special few he was Dad and Granddad. His children meant the world to him. Travis, James, Andrew, Audrey, Jackson, and Grace. I’m sure Jackson was so excited to show his Daddy around Heaven!!

It was Larry’s wish for his friends and colleagues to not make a fuss about flowers. Y’all know that’s not him. He was concerned about the care and education of his youngest, Gracie. This memorial page is set up for that reason. Friends, contributions would be welcomed in place of flowers.
