Larry Farnum Windies Masters cricket World Cup
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Sam Ricketts; chair of Simba Cricket Club and I am fundraising for Lawrence (Larry) Farnum to realise a dream to represent West Indies Masters in the over 40’s World Cup in Pakistan over the period 18th September to 2nd October 2023. Larry is an established player for Simba Cricket Club and has the full support of members who wishes him well in the realisation of this dream.
Masters story:
Windies Masters aims to recapture its former cricketing glory, with its primary focus being to ensure our cricketers maintain a healthier lifestyle and continue to be involved in the game as players, role models and mentors for our youths. Three (3) short years ago Windies Masters entered the world of over 50s (O50s) cricket and continue to make themselves and their fans proud enough to be presently ranked number 6 in the world amongst 14 countries.
Masters cricket continues to grow exponentially since 2018 when the very 1st O50s World Cup was held in Sydney, Australia featuring 8 countries which then grew to 12 countries in 2020 and now has attracted 14 international countries inclusive of all the major test playing nations.
Windies Masters now embark on their sternest test ever in September 2023 in Pakistan when they compete with 8 countries for the first-ever O40s World Cup glory and desperately needs your support to field our best team capable of recapturing and rekindling the true glory of West Indies cricket.
Due to lack of funding, your donation will be used towards flights, accommodation, Tour match fees, uniform and meals for Larry and you will make it possible for the Windies Masters to compete among the best.
Thank you for every donation
