The tragic and unexpected passing of Larry "Joey" Hackney III has come as a shock to everyone. He left us too soon, and we are struggling to come to terms with this devastating loss. Joey's impact on others spanned the country. From his friends and family in Michigan to his time spent in New Mexico; he touched many lives. His laughter was contagious, and he would talk your ear off about things he was passionate about. He loved playing video games (especially 2K) and valued time spent with his brother and cousins. Another thing he was very proud of was the time he spent working with his Dad learning the trades, as well as his work as a union roofer in the Teamsters. His loss is immeasurable, but so is the love he left behind.
