Innocence Project New Orleans client Larry Moses was released on bond today after 29 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.
In 1995, Larry Moses was wrongly convicted and sentenced to life in prison for a double murder, based on false testimony and despite having a confirmed alibi and a lack of evidence tying him to the crime. Innocence Project New Orleans (IPNO) began investigating Larry's case and found that the state also hid critical evidence.
On May 25, 2023, Larry was granted Post-Conviction Relief due to prosecutorial misconduct.
On June 14, 2023, Mr. Moses was freed on bond but the fight for his exoneration continues. Please help support him rebuild his life.
