Thank You Imbert Cancer Center

Our dear Larry was diagnosed with lung cancer in March 2018.  For those of you who knew him, he was an extraordinary human being. He was cheerful, loving, loyal, unbelievably strong, and always put his friends and family before himself. He underwent 6 straight weeks of radiation, 6 rounds of chemotherapy, 20 months of immunotherapy, and three brain surgeries. He never complained and always had a smile on his face. He lost his heroic fight on September 26, 2020.

The nurses, doctors, aides, techs, and staff at the Imbert Cancer Center in Bay Shore were beyond incredible. They were always so compassionate and went out of their way to make sure Larry was in the best of hands and care. Our family is extremely grateful for every person that made this scary diagnosis and hard journey into a memorable, positive experience. Thank you for giving Larry three more years of love, laughter, and life.
