Larry Spears recovery fund
If you’ve been part of the music scene in the Tulsa area for a while then you probably know my cousin Larry Spears.
Larry is the reason I ventured into the music business.
My first memories of him are of us sitting on the porch at our grandma’s house while he played guitar and sang. I was mesmerized. I couldn’t understand how he did what he did, but I knew I loved it.
Larry’s been through quite an ordeal over the last month or so, and could use some help.
He went to urgent care one day, not feeling well, and soon after came out on the other side of major heart surgery, and complications, and eventually he had to have a pacemaker put in.
He’s at home recovering, and can’t work just yet. And as we all know, when you’re sick, the bills don’t stop coming in.
I’ve started this fundraiser, to help with general living expenses, until he can get back on his feet.
He and Kat are both self-employed, and she is currently his caregiver, so she can’t work right now.
We’d appreciate any amount that they can put toward basic bills - utilities, groceries, insurance, and gas in the car to get them to follow up appointments and rehab.
Every penny donated will go straight to them.
And no amount is too small.
