Hi, my name is Kristen and I am the founder of 501(c)(3) nonprofit Blue_Wives_Matter. We offer emotional, and financial, support to the surviving spouses and fiancés, and their children, of fallen law enforcement officers, regardless of cause of death. Our website is at www.bluewivesmatter.net to learn more about us.
On September 16, 2023 LASD Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was sitting in his patrol car stopped at a red light when he was executed by a cowardly POS who was captured days later. To make this loss even more tragic, Ryan had proposed to the love of his life, Brittany, just 4 days before. Before Ryan started his shift that day he and Brittany were at the home they shared talking about their wedding they were planning. Just hours later, Brittany got the call none of us police wives ever want to get. She was picked up and taken to the hospital where Ryan was on a ventilator. Ryan sadly passed away shortly after Brittany arrived and said goodbye to the man she had planned to spend the rest of her life with. They were planning a wedding soon, they wanted to buy a bigger house and begin a family together. Brittany had just started a new job as a pediatric ICU RN at a new hospital.
I am starting this Go Fund Me to raise money to help Brittany until she is in a better place to return to work. She hasn't been able to return to work since losing Ryan, understandably. She needs time to process her grief and I would like to try and raise enough money for her to be able to stay current on her bills and student loans so she doesn't have to worry about any monetary concerns and just focus on grieving at this time. She had just started her job so she is off work but not getting paid at this time.
Let's show Brittany we have her back during this very difficult time. Brittany, we support you and we mourn Ryan's loss with you.
