Long Valley 10U Lasers - World Series bound
Long Valley, NJ - The Long Valley 10U Lasers are having an amazing 2016 spring season (31-5-1) headed by Coach Bob White, Assistant Coaches Randy, Brad, and Lorraine. The Lasers 10U team is comprised of mostly 4th and 5th graders and have competed in several tournaments successfully this season.
The 10U team has grabbed three first-place finishes in Lasers history beginning with winning the 10U bracket in the Atalese Tournament held on May 22 hosted in their hometown of Long Valley. The Lasers then went on to win the NorthWest Jersey Softball League Championship 10U - Gold Division Title on June 9 in Sparta, NJ. The 10U Lasers continued on with their winning streak by taking first-place in the Babe Ruth State Tournament hosted in Mount Olive on June 26. By winning the state tournament, the Lasers qualified for the Babe Ruth World Series. The team will be the first team from Long Valley Softball to travel to Jensen Beach, Florida to play in the World Series Tournament beginning August 4-11!
