THE VISION

The Black Dragon Take-Out

A lot of old Chinese takeout restaurants have shut down in various Black American neighborhoods creating food deserts. The idea is to revive these Chinese stores that are culturally relevant to Black Americans. The food will be tailored to Black American culture because that’s the community we’re serving this food to, but it’s going to have a Chinese influence from the dishes that were previously served in these types of restaurants.

THE FOOD

We’ll be open for lunch, brunch and dinner. The menu will feature noodle and rice plates, plus street food and dim sum bites.

Our menu will include General Roscoe's Chicken, Collard Fried Rice, Oxtails & Broccoli, Collard Green Eggrolls, Sweet Potato Chocolate Chip Sesame Cookies, Oxtail Rangoon and more. We’ll make everything from scratch, Chinese food that is soulful and exciting.
