Lathe's Medical and Recovery Fundraiser

Donation protected
Lathe White, of Jacksonville, Florida, is an active member of the Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society in Mandarin. Lathe volunteers every year at our annual show. As the organization was packing up at the event at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds, Lathe was involved in a horrible accident.

Lathe fell off a 12ft ladder, landing on his back and striking his head. Rushed by ambulance to Shands ER, Lathe was turned over to the hands of the trauma unit. His injuries are extensive. The good news though is that he has been awake and cognizant and has use of his limbs. Lathe spent serval days the hospital ICU. His condition improved to the point where he was stable and his medical team moved him to a rehabilitation facility.

His wife and other family members have been supporting and surrounding Lathe with all of the positivity and good thoughts possible. Several prayer chains have been created in hopes of seeing Lathe fully recovered, and back to enjoying the things he once did.
We ask that you continue sending your thoughts and prayers. In addition, we have set up this GoFundMe in Lathe’s name to assist with expenses on what will be a long road to recovery. Please feel free to donate if you can. In order to not overwhelm the family, we ask that you not reach out at the rehab facility, and we will provide updates via this site.
