LaTonya Porter-Howell's Family

Hello, my name is Soror Dr. Tina Figueroa. On behalf of the Howell Family, I have the honor and privilege of facilitating this memorial fund for my beloved sorority sister and dear friend. Latonya Porter-Howell AKA "Tee Michelle" had the biggest heart and gave over and beyond what was asked of her. She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother of three, and Auntie to many who knew her and knew of her. She will truly be missed by her family, friends, coworkers at Bladensburg High School/PGCPS, church members at Mt. Ennon Baptist Church in Clinton, MD, sorority sisters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated of Prince George's County MD, and her fashionistas who shopped at her clothing store Tee Michell's Glow Boutique. As an author, she inspired us all through her three books The Adventures of Lil Tonya, Lil Tonya Goes to Kindergarten, and Lil Tonya & AJ's Summer as well as her educational coloring book Long Vowels and Short Vowels. She found joy in her tireless effort to instill and assist all children in pursuit of their educational goals and preparing them for the future and beyond.

Latonya Porter-Howell departed from us Sunday, December 17, 2023. As we prepare to lay our sister to rest we want to remember how she strived daily to support her children and grandchildren's future. We are inviting the community to support the family with keeping her dreams alive by donating from your heart.
