LATVIA SENDS AN AMBULANCE TO UKRAINE

Hi! My name is Alex Sholominsky. I have created this campaign on behalf of my friend Sergey Snegirev from Riga, Latvia, one of the volunteers of the Zeilen Van Vrijheid (“Sails of Freedom”) foundation. He personally has delivered ambulances to Ukraine and this is what he has to say:

As Ukraine regains its territory, the horrible extent of human suffering is uncovered. One of the things the de-occupied territories need is AMBULANCE VANS. Many were destroyed by artillery shelling, fires, and urban combat, and some were simply stolen by retreating forces. The situation is so critical that patients with cardiac arrest are transported in passenger cars and stretchers are put in cargo vans.

Working with the Ukrainian-Dutch foundation “Zeilen van Vrijheid”, I have helped purchase and deliver ambulances to hospitals that needed them most. This November, I will once again get behind the wheel of a yellow-red van with blue blinkies on its roof and personally drive it to Ukraine. Help me buy this van.

100% of your donations will go towards the purchase of an ambulance. The foundation will essentially double your impact by providing vital medical equipment and supplies.

As Ukraine is facing unprecedented attacks on its civil infrastructure, let's send one LATVIAN ambulance before November 18 to support the Ukrainian fight for sovereignty and freedom. This car will go to the recently liberated Kharkiv region city of Izum to 'Izyum Central City Hospital' which was destroyed by Russian forces. The medical unit there is in great need of ambulances and medical equipment.
