Lauer Family Fund

Hi, my name is Kayla, Trisha's cousin, and I am fundraising to help the Lauer family during Lynn's cancer journey. Lynn was diagnosed in July 2023 with stage 4 Colorectal cancer that spread to his liver and began radiation and chemo therapy treatments. He has had complications with the rectal tumor and formed a fistula requiring him to have surgery. However, they were unable to remove the mass due to the location and the fact that the cancer has began to invade other organs. The doctors bypassed the mass which ended up leaving Lynn in need of a colostomy bag. After this surgery he has been in a great deal of pain and discomfort as well as having chronic infections caused by the tumor.

Recently Lynn was informed that the cancer has continued to grow even with the max dosage of chemo therapy and due to this there is no other treatment for him and was recommended to consult hospice at this time for comfort care for as long as his family gets to spend with him on Earth.

Lynn and Trisha aren't the type to ask for help in times of need but could greatly use your support to help soften their financial burden. They have two older sons, Ryan and Emmett, daughter-in-law, Kelsie, two teenage daughters Emily (15) and Adriana (14) and their first granddaughter, Blair.
