More information about LAUGHING DOG RANCH Inc.: Laughing Dog Ranch was established in 2001 and became a 5013c non-profit in 2012. The Ranch’s creation was in response to the extremely large number of stray and abandoned animals in Louisiana, as well as, the severe disease rates among animals and an uneducated populace regarding the emotional needs of pets.

Pepper is being encouraged to leave the ranch because living there has become so difficult. Of course money and physical disabilities are the obstacles, but she thought she would throw it out to the universe and see if anyone can help.

They would need a fenced in property to move to. She could not afford to pay rent though, she could barter a bit.

Presently, there are 8 dogs between the ages of 10-14yo., except one 1 yo. 11 cats between the ages of 4 ish and 14, the majority are FIV+.

Another option would be if someone or a business willing to donate or lend a trailer or camper she could live in.

She is trying to raise some funds to hire cleaning persons to help bleach everything and set up fans to dry out walls etc. as the ranch flooded again with the recent storms. Pepper is not able to manage walking on wet floors, she keeps falling. She has an autoimmune disorder and is now on crutches or in a wheelchair.

It has been suggested that she “get rid", of the animals. She would be willing to re-home, but she cannot kill them. They are her family and her heart.
