Launch an innovative app for mental health support

Mr. Thompson is an ex-DoD Civilian, having worked along and trained hundreds of military members across several branches, utilizing his B.S. Degree from James Madison University. With a diagnosis of PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder, becoming a suicide attempt survivor. As conventional therapies did not work, he found a peer support individual that “literally saved my life” as they understood the exact nature of his condition and causative factors. Mr. Thompson found a calling in helping people via his youtube channel, discovering thousands were reaching out for help. He tried to provide Peer Support to as many as he could but fell short of reaching everyone. One such individual that developed a report with Jair Hartog, ended his own life approximately 1 year after reaching out, and confirmed in a suicide note that, he wouldn’t have even tried that last year, if it hadn’t been for the help of peer support. In honor of Jair (pronounced Year) Years Heart was born.

With his background in app development management and entrepreneurial spirit, he is pioneering a new technology that will help save many lives.
