In a single day in 2020, 75% of North Carolina’s domestic violence programs served 1,152 survivors and their children. 569 survivors and their children found refuge in emergency shelter or transitional housing provided by local domestic violence programs. Another 57 requests for services went unmet due to lack of resources. Located on a private homestead, Azaryah Foundation will provide support for survivors for one year after their sixty to ninety day stays at domestic violence shelters, offering a safe community as these families continue their process of healing and restoration. This GoFundMe page has been created to raise $30,000 to launch Azaryah Foundation with a fundraising event this Fall to introduce the foundation to our Domestic Violence Community and to finance our downpayment on the land on which Azaryah Foundation's Community will be built.
