Launch KFUT, a New FM Community Radio Station!

We are The Greater Good, purveyors of cultural experiences in Tuolumne County since 2008. We've been called by our community to take on construction of a brand new community radio station.

It's rare that communities get a shot at creating a brand new full power FM station, and we can't let this moment pass us by! KFUT will be a community radio that aims to follow the mission of:

Being the voice of the foothills. Bringing local and unheard music, elevated discussion, and stories of regional interest to connect the whole community.

We need your help! We want your voices on the air, and we need your financial contributions to get the required equipment installed and running. The dollar figure we are asking for is based on quotes from vendors who will supply and install the required transmission equipment.

We have to raise this money and have the equipment installed and transmitting before October of this year, or this opportunity will disappear, possibly forever!

The Greater Good is experienced with creating and operating community radio already. Our team consists of people who came from our radio partners at KAAD-LP, Sonora's community radio station at 103.5 FM ❤️ We will continue to partner with KAAD and pledge to feature some of their excellent locally-produced radio content.

We have studio space of our own, at a currently undisclosed location. And by the time you read this, you may already be able to hear our 24/7 streaming station at kfut.org that will continue being refined into the community radio station that we truly need and deserve.
