Launch of The New Mount Sinai Christian Academy

Hello, my name is Andre Nance Jr. and My is wife Nikia Nance, we are the lead Pastors of the New Mount Sinai Worship Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Our vision is to launch a Christian school in grades k-5 in 2023. This vision has been relevant to the New Mount Sinai Worship Center layout, which encompasses holistic community restoration. In a safe atmosphere, The New Mount Sinai Christian Academy will empower students to produce an efficient and effective life-changing educational structure. We will promote a platform that aims to implement an involved educational approach.

On August 14th of this year, while I was preaching a sermon, I suffered an aneurysm around 3:20 pm. According to my doctors, I should have dropped dead within 10 minutes on the pulpit. However, God said not so. I finished the sermon, prayed for fourteen people, and drove myself home, not knowing I was dying. My wife came home and what I thought was just tiredness became overwhelming. She called the ambulance, and they took me to John Hopkins Hospital, where I was seen. Doctors initially thought it was a blood clot, but it was determined to be an aneurysm after testing. I flat-lined, had to be resuscitated, and rushed to immediate open-heart surgery. When I was resuscitated, they told me what had transpired. I asked them if they believed in miracles. One doctor stepped up and said yes. The surgery was a 13-hour open-heart procedure.

I regained consciousness only for my heart to stop and for the doctors to repeat the revival process. The miracle is I’m still alive when most have died of what I’ve experienced. God blessed me to walk out of the hospital 12 days after to begin my recovery journey. This life-changing phenomenon has affected our income to fund this vision. I’m asking for help from those willing to sow into this vision to make it a reality. God has spared my life on purpose, and I ask that you help us to serve the inner city of Baltimore, MD, by launching this school that will be a Pilar of light in the community.
